Our Date!

On Tuesday I got a call from Dane ( he is at football camp in Juab) and he said I have got a problem. So I was like o.k. What? Someone got into to his football bag at the school and stole his money. Now at some camps they just take spending money. But not this one his money is for FOOD!!! So of course I was like I will bring you some tomorrow o.k. So Justin and I headed up and made it a date. HE HE All I can say is I won't eat at the restaurant J. C. Mickelson's again Not good :( But it was still good to get out of town.....

Time for a Face lift!!

So we have had the same old background on our blog for a year! So I thought it was time for a change. Tell me what you think???? It only took me like 5 hours to do it so I hope you all like it!!

Football Camp 2009

Football camp was is Nephi again this year. Dane loves football it is one of his favorite sports. He plays right tackle on the Offensive line and tackle on Defensive line. They played other teams and they work them hard. They beat Juab(3A), Delta(3A) and Salem Hills (4A) Rams Kicked Butt!!

July 4th

Ok its great to have older kids. I MEAN GREAT!!! They went with friends to the parade so Justin and I could sleep in. OK I felt a little guilty that we didn't take them but. The good thing was they didn't care if we went. Later that day we had a BBQ with our friends the Chadwick's at their house. I think when I start to relax I forget to take pics. SO SORRY! Then we headed off to watch the fireworks in Richfield.

Then back to their house for a banging firework show because Gary had gone to Wyoming 2 days before. Garrett had the time of his life lighting them.

Hot days of Summer!

This is one of the best things to do in the summer in a small town. My kids love the canal for floating on a hot day. Brynn invited some friends to have fun. It takes about an hour to float down. Brynn was the only one to hit her head on the low bridge:( Sad but she is ok. lol

Brynn and I went to girls camp from Wed. to Sat. We had an awesome experience. Something we will never forget. It was ward camp this year. Our Bishop was kind enough to let us all go to his cabin on Monroe Mountain. It was nice to get away from the world and just enjoy all the girls.

7 on 7 football @ BYU

Weights the used to run with

On Sat. Dane went to BYU for a 7 on 7 linemen challenge. Dane and his friend Colten from the football team lifted 455lbs 20 times and the winners ended up lifting it 23 times. So they almost won that one. But our 5 linemen won the tug of war. They had 16 teams there like Alta and Bingham 4A and 5A schools. WHOOAA!! We are so excited this is our year for football. RAMS ALL THE WAY!!!!!

Coca Cola Tournament

Garrett had a tournament this weekend here in Monroe. Grandpa and Grandma came down to watch. We won both games Friday and the 1st game on Sat then we lost the 2nd. Garrett pitched 2 out of the 4 games.

Drill Camp

This week Brynn is at drill camp in Park City. So far the only pics I have received from her are ducks in the hotel pool and a pic of the shorts she got. They keep them hopping from morning until night so when she gets home I will post more pics if she had time to take any. HE HE But we miss her like crazy! Ok she sent more of the team. Brynn had the best time. They learned 7 dances and loved every minute of it!!!!

Off to College

Dane is taking 2 College class this summer at Snow College. The 1st class is Culinary Arts and 2nd is Auto Body where you paint your own car. It will be great when he goes on his mission to have taken this class. He will be able to make more than ramen noodles. So he has been cooking for the family. Last night he made us Crepes Con Queso and wow it was fabulous. Its great watching your son learn to cook. For Fathers day he is making Justin Pork Chili Verde that's his favorite.

They got us again

Every summer we get toilet papered at least twice. So on Wed. as we were all fast asleep Justin heard the doorbell around midnight. He got up to check it and finds toilet paper decorating our house. But I have to say they did a very neat job taking time to get every bush. The sad thing is it rained that night. We all figured it was Garrett's friends so he got to clean it up. But to find out later it was Brynn's friends. So CEDAR you better watch OUT!!! We know where you live!!
