Raising the Roof

We adopted a chicken so Justin told Garrett they had to build a coop. Sat Justin and Garrett spent all day building it. Then they went to IFA and bought 6 more baby chicks. Garrett is in 7th heaven. He loves his new pets. Big Black lays an egg a day. Whoot whoot in 12 days we will have a dozen. LOL

Prom 2010

They started the date with The Amazing race game. The kids got clues and had to drive to different stations and do things to receive their next clue. Dane and Heather came in 3rd.

Trick or treat: They had to dress up and go to people houses and ask for a list of items

Sweet Shoppe: They had to dig through the cakes and not use their hands to find 5 things buried in the cake

Go fly a kite: They had to make a kite and then fly it.

Service is the key: They kids had to flag down a car and either wash or vacuum and the kids had to pay for it

Exact Change: They had to find exactly the right change to buy a frazzle then buy it and drink it fast to get the next clue

Shooting hoops: they had to make shots from different spots

Fire House: The Girls sprayed the guys and they had to fill the buckets

The Relay: shooting target while hula-hooping and pulling the guys in wagons.

Everyone won a prize at the end

After the game the kids went to change for dinner. They went to SageBrush for dinner. Dane works there so the guys working there gave Dane a different dinner than everyone else to be funny:)

First they brought Dane a Tomato on toothpicks. They call Dane Tomato head because he is always red.

Dane order prime rib and got a Hugh hunk of meat 4 times the size it normally is and a mountain of potatoes. LOL

Then they gave everyone ice cream. But they gave Dane a huge bowl of ice cream with strawberries. Dane got to share with everyone too.

After the dance the kids all went to the Fire House for ice cream sundays and games. It was a fun day and a wonderful night. Dane had the time of his life.

Dane and I were on the prom committee. But that also meant the whole family worked days and nights at the SVC decorating for prom. But all the time spent there was well worth it. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!

Yesterday Wyatt asked Brynn out on a date and actually said those words. Brynn said they were in class and Wyatt was across the room and mouthed the words "Do you want to go on a date? " Brynn smiled and mouthed back "I would love too!" Anymore the guys just say do you want to hang out? So you never know what that means. It was so cute he asked her what she wanted to do? She had been wanting to go the the new skating rink. So they went had a blast together. **note they didn't even fall once** Then a movie back at our house afterwards. When they came back Wyatt told me it was his real first "DATE" too! SO CUTE!!

The Ring!!!!!!

Brynn was so excited she got her State Ring today!!!! It says STATE CHAMPS~ SENSATIONS on the side it says Brynn #1 and kia kaha (which means forever strong) She loves it!!! Its her new favorite thing.

Easter

We were home for Easter. I cooked up a storm of all the family favorites. Low Country Boil, Chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate raspberry cheesecake. YUM
