Dane's Hero

Coach Willes ~ Dane ~ Coach Mac

Dane went to State Track at BYU this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. But he went as an alternate. Coach Mike Willes asked him to go. Coach Willes is the Wrestling Coach and the Track Coach. Dane loves Coach Willes with all of his heart, he is one of his heroes. Talk about a dedicated man he spends hours and hours with my son and the other kids. Trying to make them better men, athletes, friends and just all around good people. I asked Dane what he loves about Coach Willes and he said "He is ALWAYS helpful and ALWAYS there and he loves ALL the kids. He is a BIG kid at heart and Dane's Favorite coach. Most of all he is ALWAYS encouraging." I love having another great man influencing Dane in his life. Coach Willes also teaches 5th grade at the school I work at so we are always talking about our kids and what is going on at the time. He has 4 kids of his own so he always has great advice. I know Dane will always look back on his High School years remembering the great times he spent with Coach Willes laughing, sweating, crying, and sometimes thinking he is dying (because of wrestling practice) with the fondest of memories. I know he is one of Dane's HEROES!!!! THANK YOU Coach Willes for everything!!
