We headed for Kanab on Thursday morning at 5:30am because Garrett's game started at 9:00. We Won the first game against Beaver. Garrett pitched the 1st 5 innings out of 6. He was awesome, they didn't score while he was pitching. We played Kanab the second game and won it too. Then we lost to Delta, so we had to play Kanab again but we lost. So I think we placed about 3rd. It was around 110 degrees everyday down there. It was so HOT!!! Brynn went with Jani Ott most of the time we were there. She slept at her house, went to watch Kanab football play under the lights because it was their camp. The next day they went swimming and came and watched the boys play baseball. It helped to make the weekend better to hang out with her old friend.

When the kids weren't playing baseball they went swimming a little and had naps. They also went to a cool cave in Kanab. It was called Moqui Cave.

That brings the baseball season to a close. Now its on to football...

I'm so glad you got a picture of the girls. after you guys left I realized I didn't and was sad! what is up with that??? Bet you ugys are glad to be out of the heat! It was so great to see you and get to visit with you. wish one of us could have won instead of cheating Delta, but at least we don't have to go to Bakersfield and bake right?
