Brynn and I went to girls camp from Wed. to Sat. We had an awesome experience. Something we will never forget. It was ward camp this year. Our Bishop was kind enough to let us all go to his cabin on Monroe Mountain. It was nice to get away from the world and just enjoy all the girls.

7 on 7 football @ BYU

On Sat. Dane went to BYU for a 7 on 7 linemen challenge. Dane and his friend Colten from the football team lifted 455lbs 20 times and the winners ended up lifting it 23 times. So they almost won that one. But our 5 linemen won the tug of war. They had 16 teams there like Alta and Bingham 4A and 5A schools. WHOOAA!! We are so excited this is our year for football. RAMS ALL THE WAY!!!!!

Coca Cola Tournament

Garrett had a tournament this weekend here in Monroe. Grandpa and Grandma came down to watch. We won both games Friday and the 1st game on Sat then we lost the 2nd. Garrett pitched 2 out of the 4 games.

Drill Camp

This week Brynn is at drill camp in Park City. So far the only pics I have received from her are ducks in the hotel pool and a pic of the shorts she got. They keep them hopping from morning until night so when she gets home I will post more pics if she had time to take any. HE HE But we miss her like crazy! Ok she sent more of the team. Brynn had the best time. They learned 7 dances and loved every minute of it!!!!

Off to College

Dane is taking 2 College class this summer at Snow College. The 1st class is Culinary Arts and 2nd is Auto Body where you paint your own car. It will be great when he goes on his mission to have taken this class. He will be able to make more than ramen noodles. So he has been cooking for the family. Last night he made us Crepes Con Queso and wow it was fabulous. Its great watching your son learn to cook. For Fathers day he is making Justin Pork Chili Verde that's his favorite.

They got us again

Every summer we get toilet papered at least twice. So on Wed. as we were all fast asleep Justin heard the doorbell around midnight. He got up to check it and finds toilet paper decorating our house. But I have to say they did a very neat job taking time to get every bush. The sad thing is it rained that night. We all figured it was Garrett's friends so he got to clean it up. But to find out later it was Brynn's friends. So CEDAR you better watch OUT!!! We know where you live!!

The Wrestling Academy

Dane went to Wrestling camp in St. George last week. He goes every year and he loves it. This year he sent me 3 pics!!!! YEA!!! This is the first time Dane made it on to the all-star team. You have to win so many matches to make it! He was so proud. Just Dane, Brock and Kaleb from South Sevier made it. They all got a trophy.

Fire Convention!

Every year Justin and I pack our bags and head out of town for 4 days to Fire Convention. But not this year because it just happened to be in Richfield. So we went back and forth to our classes. Dane was at wrestling camp so Brynn and Garrett were home. Halfway though the first day we get this txt. Me and Garrett miss you with this pic attached.

Convention is full of vendors selling fireman stuff. We both go to our different meetings with great speakers. I think I heard there were 800 people this year. Justin and I were in the parade. Justin drove the rescue truck while I threw candy to the kids.

The Governor Elect came down the night of the Parade and the BBQ. Brynn and Aylssa came with us to the parade and the BBQ. While there we got this pic with him. They feel special now they got there pics with the new Governor. They only came because I was taking them to a party at 7:30 and they neede a ride. LOL

The Richfield firemen asked Justin to have a couple of guys do a demonstration on using the jaws of life. So he had fun that night cutting up 2 cars. Friday night we had a big Banquet it was nice. We had a good time, next year we go to St. George.

We went down to Kanab for Garrett's Baseball Tournament. We had the best time watching Garrett play baseball. We also got to see our old friends Becka and Darin Ott. Their new house is so beautiful and their kids are so cute. The all star team played 2 games Friday. We lost the 1st one and won the 2nd one. Saturday we played 2 more games Garrett pitched a no-hitter on the 3rd game it was AWESOME 9 to 0. Then we lost the 4th game. Garrett pitched for the 1st and the 3rd games. We had so much fun it was a great weekend! Dane and Brynn stayed home to go to Youth Conference.

One of Brynn's favorite thing to do is to paint her toenails. So we went to Walmart to get more glitter. Brynn wanted a different color and we hit the jackpot 18 different colors. I think she paints her toes a different color at least once a week. So today she did mine too. We laughed so hard that we had to do mine twice:) I am not sure what got us laughing but something was funny!

I love where we live. It is like the kid capitol of Monroe. All the kids seem to find their way to our house to hang out or have night games. This week alone we have had 3 nights of different kids sleeping over. Brynn seems to just have one friend at a time. Dane had 2 yesterday and Garrett had 3 last night. Its so funny when the boys have friends they try hard to get Brynn to do stuff with them. Garrett's friends come in and out of the house a lot but every time trying to talk to her. I think she is the good looking older sister to them. Dane's friends try to get her to watch movies and be with them. The 2 that were here the other night both asked Dane for her # and they both were texting her from down stairs. Now they are texting her more than Dane. LOL Brynn was mad he gave them her # so now Dane has to ask first.
