The Big 17 and counting!

We went to Cedar City for the weekend to watch the drill team dance at the State Basketball Finals. While we were there it just happened to be our 17 year Anniversary. So we went to two games a day to see the girls dance and to see our girls and boys go for 1st place. Both teams took 2nd place. We had a great weekend. We went to a movie, went swimming and went out to eat. Japanese yummy! Sushi!!! Justin and I love sushi! Well I am so happy to be married to my best Friend for 17 years. It seems like we just got married. I love you Bean!! XOXO

HAIR today Gone Tomorrow!

On Monday I just couldn't take it anymore. The Black hair had to go!!! So I got out the clippers and the rest is history!! Hopefully he has hair for the prom pic. hehe

Its a Family Affair

On Sat. they had the Bantam Wrestling tournament at our high school. So Garrett wrestled and Dane was his Referee and Brynn and Landon worked at the 6th grade table. Garrett won 2 out of 3 and took home the silver medal. It was a fun day! Then after that they had the High School Wrestlers lunch and awards. Dane received his 2nd year letter for wrestling.

Cindy's Answer

Last night when Dane was at the store Cindy came over to drop off his answer to the Prom. It was a bunch of balloons with a poem and stuff inside them. So Dane had to pop them to see what was inside. The Poem said "Once there were roses, Glitter and Candy. Now it's a puzzle, Oh, So Dandy. Where is the answer? What can it be? Balloons are the secret - Pop and you'll see." and inside the balloons there was a puzzle he had to put together. It was a picture of them with yes on it. CUTE!

Chocolate Lovers!

Brynn and Landon made Oreo Truffles yesterday. They started out mixing the ingredients and melting the chocolate. After they finished they had a ton of melted chocolate left. Even though Brynn kept saying NO Landon please no, she knew what Landon was going to start. Thank goodness they took the pan outside to make the mess:) I think Brynn always looks worse than Landon. Needless to say we had to throw her shirt away. But don't you just loves the teenage years. FUN TIMES!!!!

i-Fly

Garrett was the lucky boy that got to go with The other Peterson's(Mitch and Ruth's Family) for Kyler's(AKA The Doodle's) Birthday trip. They went to Ogden to a thing called iFLY. It is indoor skydiving. Garrett loved it he couldn't stop talking about it for days. They gave him a video of the whole experience and we have watched it a ton. So here are two clips you have to watch it is so cool. Garrett is the smaller person, the other guy is the instructor. Thanks for inviting him guys he had a blast!!!

Jr. Prom

Dane is asking Cindy to the Jr. Prom today and it is so dang CUTE!! (Thanks Aunt Hollie for the idea) It is like the priceless commercials........

State Wrestling

On Thursday Dane Wrestled 2 different guys the first one was from Millard and he lost. Then his 2ND guy was from American Leadership Academy and Dane won him. On Friday Dane Wrestled a guy from Parowan and lost. So he was out on Friday. It was fun to watch our whole team wrestle. Grandpa and Grandma Peterson came to watch on Thursday. We love when they come because we get to see them more.

SWEETHEARTS!

I got a text from Cindy Yesterday saying that she needed to put something in Dane's room to ask him to sweethearts. It was so cute a frog with a cute note that said "Out of all the froggies in the lake... You're the Prince I want to take, will you go to Sweethearts with me?" He came home and was so excited!

Region Wrestling!

We had Region Wrestling on Friday and Saturday. Dane Wrestled really good and took 7Th in the 189 weight for our Region. So now next week we go to U.V.U. for State. For 3 fun filled days of wrestling. LOL if you have ever been to wrestling you know its just a lot of sitting and watching ALL DAY SITTING AND WATCHING!!! GOOD LUCK DANE!!

Update on the Science Fair

We went to the Science Fair on Thursday it was so fun to see all the neat projects. Then after that we took Garrett to Dinner for all his hard work:)

When the girls go to state drill some of them give gifts to each other for good luck. So I asked Hollie if she would make little cakes for each girl that matched their warm-ups. They turned out so cute but Justin, Hollie and I were up all night working on them. But they all love them so much. I also bought big diamond rings and key chains to go in the boxes too. They get some pretty cool things. Brynn is showing off her fruit roll-up tattoo.

This weekend was State drill at UVU. We were so awesome. We took 1st in Military and 2nd in Dance and Prop. So we got 2ND overall in the state. Now normally that is awesome and it is. But the girls have held the state title for the past two years so this to them is disappointing. But we are proud of them! Here are a few pics.

Turning 12 Rocks

Garrett's birthday was Saturday and he had to spend the whole day at state drill. But he was a good sport about it. He invited Kyler to go with us. Remembering the day he was born is a sad but wonderful day. The first month of his life was spent at Primary Children's. But he is as healthy as a horse now! He received the priesthood today what a great thing that was. Grandpa and Grandma came down to be apart of it. We are having a Garrett/Super bowl party today for him. Aunt Hollie made him an awesome baseball hat cake for his birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUTTER!!!
