Lets play ball!

Try outs for baseball were last Sat. So I had Dane take Garrett over to the baseball fields. The coaches have them field, hit, and pitch. Baseball is Garrett's favorite sport and he has been getting very excited about it. Last night we got the call about who's team he is on. They also told him there is practice tomorrow and he had his stuff laid out last night so he could take it to school. I love watching him pitch he is our most laid back kids so he stays pretty calm when he pitches. But of coarse I have a stomach ache the whole time he is pitching!:)

Are we Related??

Tonight Wyatt came over to hang out with Brynn. Its been a while since we have seen him. He is so dang funny so it makes ya wonder if we are related. For my families information his name is Wyatt Argyle crazy huh? Brynn and him were an item last year and we always teased them that they were related. That made them mad. But it was funny! I think they will be friends forever!

Brynn sent me these pics from the track meet today. She got very little sleep last night because we got home so late from St. George. I think about 4 and 1/2 hours. So she felt sick most of the way to Moab. But she said she ran and then felt like she was going to throw up( but she didn't) and then she felt better. Later that after noon she texted me this pic of her leg and said she thinks she is allergic to grass? Is that possible? Pour thing but she is feeling good now she just has red legs from the grass i guess. What a day. Its hard to be so far away from her when she is
not feeling good. ( sorry mommy moment)

First Place Baby!!!

This is the text I got when we were in St. George yesterday! First Place Baby!! Dane was so proud they took 1st in Region so now on to State in 3 weeks. They mail him the medals so I will add the pics later. Plus he forgot to take any pics there! :( I guess he had a lot on his mind. LOL! South Sevier took an overall 2nd place in Region!!

Yesterday we went to St. George for a dance competition for Brynn. They danced at 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. CRAZY HUH?!? Grandpa and Grandma just happened to be staying there on a mini vacation before their big trip to the Panama Canal for 10 days so they came to support her! After she danced we drove home because she had to get on the bus for track at 5:45 a.m. the next morning.

We stopped in Cedar at the Walmart to get some treats for the bus ride tomorrow to Moab. We teased Brynn about Ronald being her new best friend ( cause he is the best kind that never makes you cry!) LOL

A day of refelction

This morning one of our good friends past away. So I have spent the day thinking of the things I most love and are grateful for like temple marriage, family, love, health, and friends. I want to tell everyone that is a part of our family in some way that I am grateful for you! In your own special way you have touched our family and we love you! Our prayers also go out to Kami and Kolten.

Dane's Drama

Last night we went to the High School to watch the Drama Department do their scenes that they are taking to region and state. Dane is in a scene with Memrie and Michelle. It is a scene from a Midsummer Night's Dream but they put a spin on it to make it funny for region and state. They are dressed like 50 sock hop people. Last night they had some sad scenes and some funny ones. Dane's was so funny it was like watching a sitcom. Today and tomorrow Dane is in San Juan at Region trying to win another medal. He won last year with Tyrell and loved it. Good Luck !!

2 days of Prom (the 2nd day)

Yesterday Dane and Cindy started out their date going to a concert @ the S.V.C in Richfield The artists name was John Allred he sang original songs and some cover songs they loved him. Then after that they went to a Friends house to eat dinner with 6 other couples. Steak Yummmm!!

After dinner Dane took Cindy home to get beautiful. He came home to shower to find Aunt Hollie and Uncle Bret here. So they stayed for dinner and Aunt Hollie showed him some G.Q. moves. LOL This is a pic of her showing him how to pose.


Then he left to go pick up Cindy and come back to our house for pics. Then off to the dance. After dancing the night away they came back to our house to watch Twilight. Sweet Sweet Memories.

2 days of Prom (the 1st day)

Friday day was the 1st day for Dane and Cindy's Prom date. After school they went up to Salt Lake with some other couples. First they went to Build a bear were they built a stuffed animal for each other. They even pick out clothes for them. Dane got an elephant and Cindy got a bear.

Then from there they went to the Mayan Restaurant for dinner and a show. If you have never been there they have cliff divers that dive into a pool in the middle of the restaurant while you eat. Outside of the Mayan they have these giant snake statues which were a perfect picture opportunity. AAAHHHH!!!!! Snakes!!

Hot Hot Hot

Last night Justin went to Salina for Fire training. 15 different guys were there from 4 different departments. They went through a training simulation called the F.E.A.S.T. trailer. It is were they get all their gear on and go into this trailer which has stuff on fire inside of it to seem like a house on fire. They go over rescue techniques. Justin really enjoy this stuff.

A Midsummer Nights Dream

Last night Garrett had his own Broadway debut!! He played Theseus Duke of Athens in the 6th grade play. It was so fun to see him acting because he would rather be the tree in the back ground rather than the king. I think they gave him that role because he is the tallest in his grade. LOL It was a wonderful night they all did a great job!!

Yesterday Dane and Brynn had their first track meet of the year. It was fun to watch them. Dane throws the discus and the shot put. Brynn runs the 100 and the 400 relay. It was an invitational held in Richfield and their were tons of schools there. Justin and I went to cheer them on the great thing about it is we all got tans. LOL

BAD DOG!!

When I got home from work today I came in the house and noticed Zoe was the only dog to greet me at the door. So right away I knew Sophie has done something bad. She will hide when she hears us come home if she has been into something. So I start to look around and see half a doughnut laying there on the rug in the living room. As I investigate further I see a sack on the kitchen floor that says I Love You on it with a big hole in it. HHHHMMMM. So I start to yell SOPHIE!!! Needless to say she is spending a couple of hours in the laundry room to think about what she has done. I called Justin to thank him for the sweet treat and tell him Sophie got to it first. LOL But it is the thought that counts:)

On Sat. Brynn had a dance competition in Richfield. Brynn dances on a team for Larisa Mills at Elite Street dance studio. So we all headed to Richfield to cheer her on. Landon also came with us to support her. Pour Landon he comes from a family with all brothers..... so he has had to watch more dances this year than in his entire life. hehe!! But he acts like he likes it even if it is the longest day ever! LOL In the Video Brynn is the blond in the middle with the curled hair. We left after she danced but we found out later that there team took 1st place. Later that night we came home and had a BBQ. We had a great day together!!

Champions Dinner

Last night the High School invited the drill team, the girls basketball team and the boys basketball team out to eat. They sent out invitations to join them for dinner at the Chinese restaurant to celebrate all the teams taking 2ND in State. Brynn went with Dainia Parker(who is on the drill team) they had a blast and took these pics.

Today I went to lunch with Loreen and Emmie to catch up on things. We always have the best time together. We looked at pics of Emmie's new Grandson Drew he is so dang cute!! I just love getting together with them. You know how sometimes you feel like you are the only sane person and you need to get advise on things to make sure you are sane and not the only person that thinks that way. They are the kind of friends who will tell you "you are crazy" or maybe tell you that "you have got this one right". Honest is the word for these ladies. Everyone needs friends like that and for today I am not insane. YEAH!! Thanks girls!! Love YA

Our Ward had a Ward party last night the theme was a Luau. It was fun we ate Hawaiian haystacks and had a few contests hula hoop and limbo. I am at the party I am just always taking the pictures. We had a family picture taken that I will add later. Justin and Brynn actually got called up to do the hula hoop. You can guess who was better out of the two. Dane was without Cindy she was at Club Volleyball in Salt Lake. Brynn is happy because Landon is in our ward. Justin and Garrett are pulling faces like NO MORE PICTURES!! But we all had a great time. Landon's mom Allison was over the party and she did a great job!!! ALOHA

SSHS Festival Concert

The high school had the Festival Concert last night. Dane is in Madrigals and in Band he plays the trombone. Brynn isn't in singing this quarter. It was a fun night of great music. p.s. Aunt Audra look close at the pic of Dane in his tux look how good my clock looks on its new stand! I love it!

GGGRRRR!!

I am having one of those mama bear moments. . . . . . . All I can say is you never can tell your kids you love them enough or hug and kiss them enough. Mine and Justin's philosophy is to love our kids to death. We hug and kiss them so much I think they get tired of us doing it. But our kids KNOW they are loved unconditionally no matter what. I just wish more parents would show love that way to their kids. I know I needed that when I was a kid. That's why I believe I am this way now. So go hug your kid right now!!! Sorry I think I am venting! But it will make you happier too!

The Big 17 and counting!

We went to Cedar City for the weekend to watch the drill team dance at the State Basketball Finals. While we were there it just happened to be our 17 year Anniversary. So we went to two games a day to see the girls dance and to see our girls and boys go for 1st place. Both teams took 2nd place. We had a great weekend. We went to a movie, went swimming and went out to eat. Japanese yummy! Sushi!!! Justin and I love sushi! Well I am so happy to be married to my best Friend for 17 years. It seems like we just got married. I love you Bean!! XOXO
