Dane and Brynn got invited to Paris' birthday party on Mon. night. They had to dress like rockers. So Dane dressed up like Slash the guitar player from Guns and Roses. Brynn had Alyssa and Lexi go with her. Brynn was Blondie, Alyssa was Pat Benatar and Lexi was Joan Jet. All 80's rockers. Brynn and I had so much fun doing the costumes we went and bought some kids tee shirts. Tie dyed them and cut them up to make skirts for her and Alyssa. I got to rat their hair. Brynn freaked out a little thinking it would stay that way. LOL ROCK ON!!

Me and Brynn on the boat! We were laughing to much on the boat so we got kicked off by Justin after about an hour or so. Because we didn't fish so we had to find something to do. If you have ever heard Brynn laugh you know. She has the best laugh ever, she just makes you laugh when you hear her laugh. But we all love it.

We went camping at Fish Lake this holiday weekend with Justin's family. Even though it rained 95% of the time we still had fun. We went fishing and played games. All the guys caught a fish or two. Collin(Justin's little brother) Caught the prize of the weekend a 25 lbs Mac. WOW!! Garrett caught the most fish, but he is a die hard and stayed an extra day with grandpa and grandma. We had so much fun being with the family. It was Us, Cori, Kyle, Sheldon and Landon. Collin, Rachel & Grandpa, Grandma.

This is the gun grandpa will chase the boys away from Brynn with!!! Just kidding, this is the present that grandma got grandpa for his birthday!

The Last Dance

Last night was Brynn's last dance recital of the season. She looked beautiful and her team danced great! We also pick up her dance pictures but they didn't have the team picture ready so I will add that later.

Its all about the eyes!

The other day Brynn and I were in her bathroom doing our make-up and she said I have bigger eyes than you. I said I know you have dad's big eyes but you have my shape of eyes. Brynn has very beautiful eyes. It is so fun to look at the kids and see a little bit of both of us in each of them. Well except for Garrett he is a clone of Justin I just carried him for 9 months.

Dessert Concert

Tues night was the Dessert Concert. They call it that because it is the Fundraiser for the year. All the students bring a dessert for the audience to eat. Dane was so excited about it because all the kids get to pick there own music and perform with their friends in the music department. Grandpa and Grandma Peterson came to watch. Dane and his friends Donovan and Ryan did the big mac rap. It was the hit of the night, so funny. Ryan is rapping and Dane is beat boxing and saying big mac and Donovan is also beat boxing. Dane and Donovan came home and said we have to make a pimpin car. They found cardboard and paint and got to work. 1 1/2 later this is what they had.

Dane won Outstanding Sophomore boy for his grade in music and his friend Donovan got it for Junior class.

Wrestling Video

Monday night Dane went over to Coach Willes house for a wresting meeting and to watch the highlight video for the year. Wow, all I can say is Wow!! The video is awesome so I took a clip of it out so you could see a bit of it. It spotlighted all the Wrestlers and the Coaches. What a special thing to have and cherish forever. Dane loves it, we have all watched it over and over. Charly Mann is one of the coaches and he made the video.

Not for the faint of heart!

Tonight Justin, Garrett and I saw the Haunting in Connecticut. Whoa it is one scary movie and its PG-13. We were right in the middle of one of the scariest parts and all at once 2 girls in front of us started to scream just as Justin came like lighting jumping forward out of his seat. The whole theater started to laugh and snicker. The funny thing about it is he is the biggest guy in the theater and he jumped twice!! But if you love scary movies like we do! GO SEE IT! Brynn and Dane didn't go with us because they have plans to go with there friends this week. Plus we are not cool enough to be seen with anymore. I guess. he he

Girls Weekend!

Brynn ~ Coleen ~ Kassidy

Brynn got a invitation the other day to go to Provo for a girls weekend. Kassidy asked her and Coleen to go up stay in a hotel and go watch the team at the track meet on Sat. They left Friday when they got up there they did a little shopping at the mall. Then went to the hotel for some swimming. To make a long story short the hotel they were going to stay at double book itself so they sent them to a nicer hotel across the street. But that hotel didn't have a hot tub so they asked and they got to go back to the first hotel for hot tubing. ( I am sure it didn't hurt that they saw tons of boys at the first hotel when they were there) LOL They got up at 5:45 a.m. can you believe it. If you know Brynn at all she is hard to wake up and hardly ever gets up that early unless it is for drill. So on Sat. they spent the whole day at the track meet watching all the teams. Now Dane is already there being Mr. Social and getting lots of digits. If you know what I mean. I laughed at Brynn she said Guys asked her for her Number and she just smiled and shook her head no. She is very shy around people she doesn't know. Even though she said they were cute. After the track meet they went back to the mall for dinner and then headed home. What a great weekend!

Dane's Hero

Coach Willes ~ Dane ~ Coach Mac

Dane went to State Track at BYU this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. But he went as an alternate. Coach Mike Willes asked him to go. Coach Willes is the Wrestling Coach and the Track Coach. Dane loves Coach Willes with all of his heart, he is one of his heroes. Talk about a dedicated man he spends hours and hours with my son and the other kids. Trying to make them better men, athletes, friends and just all around good people. I asked Dane what he loves about Coach Willes and he said "He is ALWAYS helpful and ALWAYS there and he loves ALL the kids. He is a BIG kid at heart and Dane's Favorite coach. Most of all he is ALWAYS encouraging." I love having another great man influencing Dane in his life. Coach Willes also teaches 5th grade at the school I work at so we are always talking about our kids and what is going on at the time. He has 4 kids of his own so he always has great advice. I know Dane will always look back on his High School years remembering the great times he spent with Coach Willes laughing, sweating, crying, and sometimes thinking he is dying (because of wrestling practice) with the fondest of memories. I know he is one of Dane's HEROES!!!! THANK YOU Coach Willes for everything!!

Dane went on a Date Sat. night with Memrie. They went to a water party in the day time and then went bowling with 3 other couples that night. They went to get an ice cream and played fun games around Walmart. They have alot of fun together.

Mothers Day

It was so fun to have the kids around all at once. Anymore one or more of them is gone doing something. So after church we went to play Frisbee at the park. But it turned into a wrestling match. Justin Started to wrestle Brynn and then Dane joined in and last but not least Garrett piled on top! After that Brynn wanted to start a water fight. So she went to the water fountain there and filled up a bottle and came and got Justin wet, but when she saw Justin heading for the fountain she started to run home. She got all the way home and Justin got her as she was going in the back door. Once it was started it wasn't over until we were all soaked!! We all love having family fun!!

My Mom

Hey this is Dane and I just wanted to wish all the mothers out there HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!! But I just wanted to let everyone know my mom is the best mom ever!!!!! And that is no joke. She is always here for us. Today I had to talk in church and I just wanted to tell you some of it. . . .

A lot of the time she gets taken for granted. She is just always here for us so we just expect her to be there. She does so much for our family. I don't know how she does it and still manages to have her own personal life! Here are just a few things she is: a baseball fan, a drama enthusiest, a dancing fan, a secretary, a chef, a taxi driver, and she still has time to be a great friend!

My mom is always here for us when we need her most. In our time of need she always knows how to make us feel better, even if it is a pick me up ice cream as you have seen before. She would do anything for us even if it is dragging the whole family all the way to the middle of nowhere town called Blanding just to watch one football game, or to kanab for baseball, or up to Lagoon for a dancing competition. She would go to the ends of the earth for us if need be. I would go there for you too mom.

36 and counting UGH!!

Well Saturday was my birthday and I had a great day. It started out with Justin and the kids making breakfast in bed. Crepes and bacon my favorite. Then singing and presents, the nice thing about having older kids is they actually get more thoughtful the older they get. Dane took his friend Jacoy to go shopping to get a girls opinion on Friday and they did good they got me a clock!! The kind you put pics in and then he put the pics in it. Brynn made me a tile with vinyl lettering on it I loved it. Garrett got me a new down pillow. Justin gave me money so I could go shopping. Brynn and I went shopping that afternoon and then we all met for lunch at the Chinese my fav. What a great day! For dinner we had Low Country Boil it is all of our Favorite Dinner.

This is a little note to tell all the mother's that have touched my life Thank You! Being a mother is a special thing in life, and I am greatful everyday that I have the opportunity to be one. Enough is ENOUGH!!!

Well Dane and Brynn went to Region track today in Manti and I think Brynn came home with heatstroke or something. She came home got in the shower, ate dinner and went to bed. I got this pic after I put Aloe Vera on her shoulders. I think her last words were I've had ENOUGH. I think you get what she means. Poor thing. Rough day :( :( Dane seems fine he is just sunburned on his face.

Last night Garrett's team won! But I feel like I am the only person cheering on our team. All the other teams have tons of parents cheering on all the kids. I don't know why the parents on our team don't seem to be around. So there I am screaming my head off for the whole team like a crazy woman! I think kids need lots of cheerleaders in their lives. Maybe I need to find some for our team!
